The Liberty Learning Center is an alternative learning environment for students who have struggled to thrive in traditional educational settings, both elementary and high school. Students come to LLC for a variety of reasons but the most common are: a desire for more experiential learning, poor prior academic performance, behavioral issues, and/or having dropped out - yet desiring to complete high school.

LLC originated as a high school educational center, but in April 2010 piloted a Liberty Learning Center Lower School that has since become a fully integrated program. The elementary program was developed as a place that allows students to study in an environment that encourages active learning, creativity, and discovery.

As part of the high school program, LLC encourages a student's natural spirit of inquiry and allows them to work towards a formal high school diploma in two different ways. Students may choose a traditional transcript-based track or a Wisdom-Based track which capitalizes on a student's interests and life experiences.

LLC's approach is intensive mentorship coupled with a customized education plan built around the student's interests and learning strengths. A mentoring relationship proves to be vital as students define and achieve short terms goals to promote a pattern of success--in learning and in their lives.
